You know, what most consider to be one of the best new series this generation. The same series that has garnered a multitude of awards and is praised from reviewers and gamers. Yeah, that's a pretty big comparison.

That doesn't matter. What matters is people feel they get their money's worth out of a FPS, or any game for that mattter. Exactly how many hours of gameplay was in the campaign of Vanquish? And if less than 15, why would anyone spend $60 for it? Companies keep pumping out single player titles, withat clock in 10 hours or less, and spend tens of millions of dollars on doing this, and then somehow expect to recover their costs?

If you like FASTPACED action shooter with the greatest gameplay EVER, go get it man! I payed full price, dont regret it, best game in late 2010! played through it 3 times, if you can get it for half price, go get it!
for me it has an level like zone of the enders, even though the story is way worse than ZOE

Loved the game, loved the gameplay, it was new, it was fresh, it was too short... but I didn't care.. I actually bought it cause it had this awesome 3d cover..

You know the game is fun enough that you will want to replay it and the challenge rooms take a while to complete. As for games needing to have 15 hours of single player -- i disagree. Some games are going to be big titles that take long time to complete, others will be short either way the best way to judge the value of a game is how much enjoyment you got out of it not how long you spent playing it.
one of the few times a game was a bit shorter than I expected, but I didn't care since it was so unique and did a lot of stuff to speed up the normally slow TPS genre. It was like Contra in 3D
It was an amazing game! One of the best (maybe thé best) game of 2011. It only missed a 2 player co-op (split screen).
