"Square Enix may be re-releasing their most masterful titles in a single package. The Tokyo-based publisher trademarked the name “SE Masterpieces” in Europe five days ago, on May 11.  

The trademark could mean anything. This writer would certainly consider a disc including Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XII an “SE Masterpiece.” Or the three Kingdom Hearts titles for PS2.

Seems probable to me this means FF10, 10-2, and FF12 have been remastered for the PS3 and 360 and will come out sometime next time year, or maybe this year to prepare for FF13-2's release in Japan and the west.

however this could also refer to Tomb Raider, Hitman, etc remasterings, but i think that being called SE Masterpeices it would be FF games, and hopefully Dragon Quest 8 - since the title Masterpeices is not explict to Final Fantasy. so i think DQ8  is on the cards as well tbh.

I would LOVE FFX on Xbox 360. :) I hope it does come out!

Would love to see FFX & FF XII on one Blu-Ray dics. Not so much for Kingdom Heart series, all that milking/spin-off really killed the series for me.

Any FF remake for FFs between VII and X-2 will make me a happy camper.

Dunno about you but I would really love a FF8 HD remake *jizzes*

V and VI Remade on 3DS, exclusively.

VII, VIII and IX all re-released on 3DS with a small graphical update. Exclusively.

X, X-2 and XII all re-released on the Xbox 360 Exclusively.

Sounds about right for what SE would do.

I would rather have a Final Fantasy XIII that doesn't suck, and new RPG franchises like they used to put out in previous generations...in the PS2 era they created Kingdom Hearts for example...where's the equivalent of that in this gen? Where's versus XIII? what happened to other great games they used to make like Chrono Trigger/Cross, FF Tactics, Mana series, Dragon Quest, Valkyrie Profile...where's the next-gen (HD) game for any of those?

The HD consoles got so far : FFXIII (a game named FF, that is so far from it, worse than calling Lords of Shadow "Castlevania", really!), Front Mission Evolved (underwhelming), Nier (low-budget, underwhelming), Star Ocean (average), Infinite Undiscovery (underwhelming), Last Renmant (underwhelming)...and I think that's all. That's some line-up! Shame on you Square-Enix!  Note : Underwhelming means : not worth my money.
