Around the Network

Hell FFXV will be comin to theaters to

it will be everything minus the gameplay.

SE, will finally realize that being obessed with computer graphics, and sticking to consoles does not compute, and they will make PC their lead platform and deliver a game that will litterally melt the players eyes. It shall be known as the FINAL Final Fantasy, because the blinded fans will stop playing games.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Final Fantasy XIII's lead platform was PC ironically enough.

the bargain bin with the last 4 ff's that sucked. :P

either ms sony multi or sony exclusive.

XII did not suck.

I second that. XII is a masterpiece!

It won't come out cuz Squeenix is too busy making remakes. And then they are going to make remakes of the remakes that they made so that we'll have more remakes. Also, they won't remake FF VII HD cuz that's what all the fans want. Instead, we'll get more games ported to the PSN and Virtual Console. Then they'll make spin offs of the remakes. Then they will remake the spinoff remake and sell it to us. Then they'll take the remake of the remake spinoff and remake it for the PSN, XBLA, and VC... Then they'll remake that into a handheld game. Then, they'll create a collector's edition which is a essentially a remake of the game and add a few new content and better graphics. Then they'll remake that for the next gen consoles that come out in the future.

Will end up on all consoles.  Might be timed exclusive on one console if either MS, Sony or Nintendo gives SE enough money for the right to be so.

What? No PC excluisive option?!

Multiplat, as soon as possible. Probably on Cafe as well. SE is in desperate need of revenue. FFXIII 2 is an example of that.

Screw XV... give us a VII remake in HD!  Probably the only thing that'll make gamers get excited about Square again at this point lol.

i co-sign that ^^

If Square Enix really is in a bit of financial trouble, then it's all the more reason to hold off on a remake. They currently have something a lot of people are looking forward to. If they give it up too soon, they loose their leaverage and could loose even more fans. Let's face it, a FFVII remake will probably be a disaster. It's been so long since the game originally released that it's gameplay mechanics are outdated. In order to properly remake the game, it will have to be revamped... and there in lies the problem. Some fans simply want the game they remember in glorious HD, while other fans and potentially new customers want the game updated to take advantage of modern advances. Simply put, no one will be satisfied and will only end up hating Square Enix even more for either pissing on their memories or ruining what could have been a great game had they only updated the mechanics.

Square Enix had better keep teasing the game for the next 20 years until everyone forgets--not likely--or remake something a little less sensitive--like FFVI or VIII. I recommend VIII as pretty much every one will at least agree that the Draw/Junction system had needed an overhaul since day one.
