I AM using email. I'm trying to get onto the Playstation Store website to change the damn password.

To my knowledge, PS Store is still down. All you can do is change your password then play games online atm.If you're trying to get on PS Store, get in line with the rest of us.

This is my second PS3. That probably has something to do with it.

But what confuses me is my cousin had to do it by email even though I didn't and we both play on the same PS3 (which is our first)

I can't imagine how this forum'd be if people didn't insist on making lame excuses for their company of choice.

If Sony is going to send me a password change email, it's not too much to ask that the fucking website be up and running.

Is it wrong to expect more of Sony? Why can't I expect them to do something right after three weeks of screw-ups?

I guess all you can really do then is call customer care. How I dread recommending someone to call Sony's PS3 service line. I never once had a good experience with those dick holes. They make me feel insignificant every time I call them.

I'll just wait it out. If I wasn't going to buy a house in the next two months, I'd go to the store and buy a 360 right now. I'm reaaaaaaaaallly tired of this PSN fiasco. Sony doesn't deserve my money at this point.

I was going to wait until Oct/Nov to buy a new 360 and this just may be enough to accelerate it by a few months.

3 weeks of screw ups? your acting like sony tripped over the power cable and created the outage themselves and was full of butterfingers and kept fumbling with trying to plug it back in

i saw on twitter that they shutdown requests for resetting passwords bc it was severely overloaded. said they were gunna run the queue and then put it back up again or something
