Sony's Playstation site is down. I've been trying for over 20 minutes and it just times out so I cannot change my PW.

Fuck you, Sony. Seriously. Try to do SOMETHING right here, will you?

Do it via email. I remember you saying that you purchased more than one PS3 and it's highly likely that you didn't create your account on your current PS3. Therefore, you have to make the password change with email.

first off the network is being overloaded by the number of people trying to sign in within this time range

secondly sony are still making modifications to the network

any normal person would have realised that instantly, but apparently you're upset because you can't access the network instantly... i've always said to people such as yourself if you're so unsatisfied with sony's platform sell it and move on...

I was able to sign in today but right now i cant sign in to PSN, it says its under maintnance, is that because to many people are trying to sign in at the same time or did sony shutdown again?

I AM using email. I'm trying to get onto the Playstation Store website to change the damn password.

I cant imagine how you'd be like if instead your internet provider was down or even maybe electricity in your house.

Worked for me...and I didn't need to go to my email to change my password. Wonder why some people have to do it differently? 

My cousin also had to do it by password and both our accounts are on the same PS3.

Sony has screwed up every step of this PSN outage. But hey, I guess I should just shut up about it because complaining about a company's screw-ups is apparently the wrong thing to do... God forbid we call out companies and try to force change upon them.

Maybe if everyone had just shut up in 2007, Microsoft could have saved themselves a billion dollars fixing 360s.

This is my second PS3. That probably has something to do with it.
