Couple of things :

- You can only get invaded by players in your level range

- You can't get invaded in soul form

With those things in mind, I still recommend playing the game offline at first. Beat a few bosses, upgrade your weapons, stock up on items, and level up. You can technically be better then a player
[ In terms of blocking, dodging, and attacking ] but he may have items, weapons, and armor that will sway the battle in his favor.



Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

i beat the game and only got invaded once. and that time i was actually beating the black phantom and he ended up helping me beat the level by killing all the enemies for me.  theres only a few pricks out there who actually invade worlds to ruin someones day.

I was just playing. I couldnt ign in to their servers though....

Playing online isnt much fun for me though... No one would ever summon me and i could never find a soul to summon... even when i was trying to organize it with my friend

also, Im about to break this game in half. Ive been farming for pure bladestone for 3 days practically non stop... maybe 10 hours...

Bonus damage has nothing to do with soul/body form. It depends on the World Tendency. The whiter your tendency the more damage your character can do/less damage enemies do to you, and all the contrary if the tendency is black. So you could be in Soul form in a pure black tendency world and get your ass handed to you as the enemies are stronger and are more resistant to your attacks.

And one more thing about being in Soul Form : the darker your tendency the smaller your nerfed life bar will get. Yeah, in pure black world tendency is quite less than "half", so even with the Cling Ring on (which grants you about 25% more life bar), you will still have less than 70% of your life bar.

you are both right and wrong.  character tendency.  world tendency.

the attack damage bonus is a function of both character and world tendency but it is only applied when in soul form.  attack damage bonus is not applicable in body form.

you are both right and wrong.  character tendency.  world tendency.

the attack damage bonus is a function of both character and world tendency but it is only applied when in soul form.  attack damage bonus is not applicable in body form.

Enemies are easier to kill in White world tendency, so yeah, there is a "damage bonus" in body form. You may not be dealing more damage, but the enemies take less damage to die, same thing.

Well you ARE trying to get the hardest stone to acquire in the game. Hope you are using the appropriate methods!

im camping the dual katana knight. and im switiching from the bp one aand one in the hidden passage because its boring repeeeatedly killing the same onee.

Heh...there's also this rumor that if you keep 99 shards & chunks in your inventory, it's supposed to increase your chances of the pure. I would call BS on it but I think it actually worked when I was farming chunks of cloudstone. Of course it could have just been a fluke..
