I wonder if Final Fantasy versus 13 will make it to the system. With it's fabled better proccessor they could make make it with better textures at least.

A better CPU =/= better textures... that's all according to the GPU they put in it and, more importantly, how much VRAM they allot to it.

Nintendo is notorious for skimping out on their hardware in certain areas in order to keep costs down and maximize profit right off the bat, so I'm keeping my fingeres crossed that Cafe, while it obviously won't be leaps and bounds over 360/PS3, it will still have a noticeable improvement in performance and quality over its competitors.

I don't see which processor being specified.

Why do you always end up sounding like Comic Store Guy from the Simpsons?

Anyway, the big worry for me would be 2 years of ports and then 3rd party devs concentrate on the new PS / Xbox and abandon Cafe. Nintendo could quite easily be filling a hole that isn't actually there by releasing a new console in 2012. And despite what anyone says, Nintendo has become even more kiddyfied in the eyes of the consumer since the release of the Wii. After what happened with the Gamecube they (Nintendo) must realise that they don't sell on horsepower.

Well that's because he's written to always talk like someone trying tro to speak like a philosopher. I just write that way here on discussions because I find it's better to keep my language formal, as I've learned the hard way that being blunt and direct can lead to arguments fast.

That comes from voice tone. Most formal language is meant to be flat and explanatory. That's why I wrote that's CBG is trying to speak like a philosopher, but ends up just talking like a jerk.

Anyway, the context of my comment you replied to was that someone wrote "processor" with no qualifier as to which processor, and someone replies with the assumption it had to be a central processor, not a graphics processor. That seems minor, except the conclusion was that the first poster wrong, based on assuming what the first poster wrote, not what was actually written.

And yeah, that does annoy me, because while some might do it accidentally (which is why I try to politely correct them), others do it deliberately to cheat at arguments, like those radio pundits that you also see on Fox News and MSNBC (and that means while I try to be polite when correcting, I sometimes write more harshly than I should).

It's just something that has been bugging me for a while reading your posts. If that's who you are then so be it. I have learned in life that sometimes a little introspection doesn't go amiss. Oh, and there's better out there than Kelly Brook

Well you should look up "harvardbusinesss" on youtube and watch some videos on that channel. You'll find formal language spoken politely and in a way to inform instead of being rude and superior.

And I'm not claiming she's the best of anything. I just really like that picture set.

Well I take it you haven't watched it then. If you honestly believe you are being polite and not being condesending then you are clearly deluded.

The Kelly Brook comment was tongue-in-cheek btw

Sounds good. Developers could sell the old games again on nintendo console and keep making the new games on ps4/nextbox.

Sorry, didn't mean to set off a linguistics debate between you and EssosDeeos lol.

Anyways, I wasn't trying to be mean or condescending to the poster I originally replied to, if that's how it sounded.  I haven't heard anything about Cafe's proposed GPU yet, so I just assumed he was referring to the rumored IBM tri-core CPU that Cafe will use, which supposedly is faster/more powerful than the 360's "Xenon" processor and rivals the PS3's "Cell" processor, and just thought I'd point out that a faster CPU doesn't necessarily mean better textures.
