Just a few questions.

1.  Does posting a reply work much like it does now where there is a popup?  If so, does it disappear when you click off of it, causing you to lose the text you typed?

2.  Is there an option to stop keep me at the top of the page when I click on a thread instead of skipping to the last post on the page?

#1 - Answer is no to both parts of the question. That's all changed now.
#2 - Currently it should only skip to recent replies if you've already read through the thread, as far as I know. Otherwise it sticks to the top.

Cool. An option to shut off the autoskipping (new or returning to the thread) would be cool.  It's a little quirky while the page is still loading.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

I know this is unrelated to Gamrconnect, but is there any chance you would remove a critic reviewer site from the database for instance GameDaily (they no longer review games), and add new critic reviewers like Gaming Nexus, Armchair Empire, GameRevolution, Hooked Gamers and IncGamers. Especially since those five sites are considered as friends in this site.

5 days 'till gamerConnect 2.0?

I don't see any reason to remove a site just because they no longer review games. It should stay.

I'd like some options for older reviews, stuff like EGM, so we can add critic reviews for older games.

The site actually no longer exists. http//www.gamedaily.com. Personally, I don't see why they should stay.

I agree. Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) should be added too.

Because the site no longer operates, the reviews cease to exist? Of course not. GameRankings.com has over 2,200 reviews listed for gamedaily.com. That's a lot of info to just turn away. Maybe some adjustments need to be made if you cannot link to the actual review, but acting like the review did not happen is pointless. It's data, so let's use it.

What if, in 10 years time, IGN, Gamespot, 1UP, etc are no longer in existence? Just do away with their reviews?

What if we do as you say, and quit using certain sites/publications when they shut down...In EGM's case, we would have used their reviews, then stopped using their reviews, then resumed using their reviews.

A return to the VGC 2.0 principles and interface. Wow, what a surprise!

Can we create multiple Hot Topic sections?  If possible, I'd love to have a single page where I can access all Gaming related threads, a single page for all Off Topic threads, a single page for all Sales threads, and a single page for all Website discussion.    Having all those threads split into dozens of forums or all crammed into a single page seems like a headache either way.

Other than that, I'm liking the looks of a lot of these improvements.  Hopefully mods will soon have the ability to move threads, combine threads, and edit thread titles.  That'll really help with our duplicate thread problem.

TOMORROW!

This Gamrconnect 2.0 will be a revolution!

Can't wait for tomorrow!
