Isn't Lylat Wars/Starfox 64 a remake, or shall I say a re-envisioning?

"The game is broken in so many ways. You have the atrocious voice acting..."

I agree. Though the game has produced some legendary memes, the voice acting can get on your nerves on further playthroughs.

Good thing you can turn it off in the PAL version. *smug*

Star Fox 64 is much better than it's predecessor, Nintendo should probably remake the better one.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I agree that in terms of gameplay, Star Fox 64 is the better game. Hell, if you ask me, it's hardly aged at all in that respect, unlike most fifth gen games.

But SF64 made some design choices many people didn't like, (Not "all" or "most". "Many".) such as the Blue-Marine and Landmaster stages, and pointless, unskippable (iirc) cutscenes. And man, the game is easier than *insert celebrity slut here*. The original Star Fox is actually a challenge.

Plus, the SNES version's music is so much better than the N64's, it's not even funny.

I want some flipping remixes of those.

The only things really holding back the SNES version are the choppy frame-rate, bland graphics, and the lack of an analogue stick. ALL of those things could and would be fixed in a modernized remake. But how exactly could Star Fox 64 be improved on the 3DS?

Oh. That's right.

It has THREE-DEEEEE!!!

@ wfz

I'm letting them off the hook, because I've never played Master Quest.

Starfox?  You mean that game like Starwing but with an inferior name?

Inferior?  Jill Valentine has a big nose!!  Starfox is about a fox that flies in space!  Starfox is the perfect name.  Even this guy approves:

"Heeey, guys! Whatcha doin?"

It's because of Starfox that we got Star Wolf.  Star Wolf is cool.  Ask anybody on the street what Starfox is about--even if they didn't play the game--they'll say "It's about a fox that flies a space ship with his team of animal buddies.  He should totally eat that rabbit and blame it on Andross, though.  That's what I would do."  Ask ANYBODY what a game called Starwing would be about.  They'd say it's about some sort of chicken/movie star.  And his arch enemy wouldn't be Star Wolf.  It'd be some sort of wild dog (Possibly a wolf--I'll admit it.) that eats chickens!!

So there.  Starfox > Starwing.

Wait one goddamn second.

Why is everyone and their mom bitching about a SF64 remake, and yet at the same time they're letting Nintendo get away with releasing OoT for the FIFTH time?

What the hell? Screw you internet peoples!

Because OoT is actually a worthy Sequel.

A sequel that had the same problem as Starfox 64! Being the same as the game that came before it but easier!

How is OoT the same as Link's Awakening?
