The internet would be nothing without SF64 one-liners. Nothing.

Actually, you're right. It was fucking BORING when all we had was Netscape and GIFs that played once.

And then Star Fox 64 came around and fixed EVERYTHING with the internet. I'm glad we're seeing eye-to-eye on this!

Star Fox 64 is the Internet Explorer of the internet. Take that as you will.

how about remake both of them as "StarFox the Original Adventures" collection?

Wait one goddamn second.

Why is everyone and their mom bitching about a SF64 remake, and yet at the same time they're letting Nintendo get away with releasing OoT for the FIFTH time?

What the hell? Screw you internet peoples!

I'll agree that they should have done that, if only because you still can't get StarFox on the Virtual Console, but can totally get 64, so it brings up the question of why anyone with a Wii who could buy StarFox 64 for $10 will pay full price for a warmed-over 3D port? (unless they're adding value to 643DS as they are to OoT3DS), and i would certainly appreciate access to the modern game

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Because OoT is actually a worthy Sequel.

so a remake and a remake of a remake? FANTASTIC, if we could just get a remake of castlevania x68000 we'd be good to go

Yeah, maybe if you're a newbie. All old vets agree that OoT is a lame remake of ALTTP. If Nintendo's going to remake ooT, they might as well remake the BETTER ORIGINAL ALTTP.

Just like remaking SF instead of SF64. ALTTP could use an epic remake.

Sorry but StarFox 64 is the best StarFox ever.

And yes... I played and finished both.

So even you admit that there were terrible sequels. You just haven't learned where the problems began, but I forgive you.

SF64 is a better game than original... I enjoyed and waste more time in SF64 than SF (in fact I expend a lot of time with both and agree SF is harder than SF64).

StarFox was the beginning... StarFox 64 was the closest to be a perfect space ship game I've ever seen... no game in genre beat StarFox 64 until now

I understand your passion, since you spent more time with a remake of a fantastic game. But this is not enough to make 64 the superior title.
