Forums - Gaming Discussion - Remake Starfox, not Starfox 64

Malstrom is so right. Starfox (SNES) totally pwns Starfox 64 a bajillion times over. I never believe anyone who says any Starfox is better than the one on Super Nintendo.

He goes into a little more detail:

The original Starfox still has the best soundtrack in the series. Everytime they tug at the nostalgia strings but reuse music from SF64, my heart hurts at Nintendo's preference for the inferior soundtrack.

But malstrom is a freak.

Oh dear sweet lord, here we go again.

I'm NOT clicking that link, but I agree with the sentiment of the thread.

Just... no voice acting. PLEASE.

Yes I want a new Rogue Squadron !!!!

I played the SNES original (to DEATH), so I didn't expect slippy to sound like a girl.

But I suppose this is what happens when Nintendo get the idea to go casual several years before everyone thought they did.

Lol, Malstrom is such a fanboy.

"The music does not need remaking. The music can, and should, stay exactly the same."

It's like he doesn't even try to pretend like he's not exuding his own fanboyism. The article was the same "don't remake sf64, the original was better and cannot be emulated!" sentence over and over and over and over.... This guy gives me headaches.

Dude, the voice-acting in SF64 was amazing. The one-liners wouldn't be half as meme-tastic without them.

You're only 20 years old; I don't expect you to understand the impact of the first game.
