1UP has apparently been acquired by IGN.
How do you feel about this? An independent voice lost?

ok im pissed. now we have to come up with a joke about 1up like we did with ign(ignorant) and its going to be hard.

Always thought that 1up was one of the better sites.

Other than maybe Jessica Chobot, there really is nothing there to like.

1Up aren't a very good site. They've lost all the good people, they are pretentious as fuck and they offer nothing noteworthy to the medium. IGN are better than 1Up, being acquired by IGN doesn't make much sense though, don't see the point.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
