I put this in the gaming discussion because the PC forums are dead.

Update: I have decided to give 800 MS points or a $10 PSN card (sorry Wii only users, I don't know how to get you guys anything) every 3 months to the person who I feel has consistantly had the best reviews in my threads. Hopefully this will inspire even more great reviews in these threads. Your reviews start to count with this thread ( April 29th 2011) so the person with the best reviews will win at the end of July.

All you have to do is put what score you think the game below deserves, and write a brief explanation as to why it deserves that score.

Voting is open for 3 days, after the 3 day period I will count up all the scores and get the average of the game.  I will be putting up a new thread with a new game every 3 days

Great Visuals, good gameplay, and O BABY custom games!!! This game was worth the wait. Near unlimited replayability, and the campaign wasn't too bad either. Solid 9.2 Now hurry the heck up with diablo 3 blizzard.

The level of polish is unseen anywhere else

I'm not the biggest original star craft fan ever I give the original and brood war a 9/10. I like Total Annihilation, SupCom, the older command and conquer's, and Warcraft more.

8.5 Great Game

Story is dissapointing. There were a lot of things in it that seemed a bit forced.

The campaign is good and it is lengthy however it feels a bit akward. I would have preferred the 10/10/10 missions like the old ones.

The online is very good, not brood war level yet imo. And they treated balance issues with a bit too much nerfing for my tastes.

Battle.net 2.0 matchmaking is great.  The lack of LAN support, SPAWN, No Chatrooms or Cross Region play is not.

Hopefully the next one will solve some of the issues like brood war did for the original starcraft.

10/10 same reason. I had a blast with the game. I need to go play some more multiplayer

Gotta third this 10/10 thrilling story that leaves you wanting more, different and fun singleplayer, and really good multiplayer, with all of the updates to satisfy the whiners I have no clue how anyone that loved the first could not say the second is not only as good but improves the best RTS series around.

Excellent game!!

It's not one of the most enjoyable RTS's I've played. I like a little more focus on base building instead of missions where I only get to control a limited number of units.

I also didn't really like the art style or the setting (I like more historic RTS's) and it could have used some cool cut scenes or something.

I didn't try multiplayer, but I never do in strategy games.

Don't have much else to say. There's nothing particularly bad, but there's isn't anything I get excited about either. It's a game in a genre that's left it's golden days far behind.
