The publisher reveals today that Crytek’s Crysis 2, BioWare’s Dragon Age II and Visceral’s Dead Space 2 have each passed the 2 million copies sold mark. For Dead Space, that means the sequel has done around 40% better than its predecessor in the same time frame, it’s pointed out. Not too shabby?

The sales of Criterion’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit are also revealed: 5 million. The more recently released Shift 2 Unleashed offshoot goes unmentioned though.

pretty good for crysis i enjoyed its SP, better AI and gunplay would of gone a long way though even after the patch AI still stinks

Congrats to Dead Space 2, much deserved, one of my favorite games this year.  

glad those games are doing well. seems the tracking on those games(if we count the pc, digital downloads/steam sales) is right on the money for the most part.

i think we all know why there was no comment on shift 2 lol

PC doesn't include Steam sales and the 2 million is shipped to retailers.

awesoms news all three are great games! ok maybe not DA 2, but I will forgive bioware for making one ok game for every 3-5 awesome ones.

Also just to add to these figures:

"Over its entire 2011 fiscal year, EA shipped 12 million units of FIFA 11, 7 million copies of Bad Company 2 (released at the tail end of FY10), and five million each of Medal of Honor, Hot Pursuit and Madden 11."

Also from EA's earning today. Great for hot pursuit, fifa and BC 2. But MoH did not deserve these sales.
