I was a little bit worried about that ,because I clearly am not anarchistic , for I think regulations are very important in some areas. But my strong disagree with regulations of sexual life and surveillance of the population might have made me seem that way to the test and that, like many germans, I have a problem with patriotism/nationalism might be the second reason. |
Honestly, I think that the average result of our country would be somewhere in the bottom left quarter. Many of these questions are absolute no brainers over here, like Onna76 stated for the Netherlands as well.
Why on earth should sexual orientation / preferences be anybodies business? Then take our economic system, the "soziale Marktwirtschaft" - though it's not pure capitalism, even the conservative parties mostly support it. Military is another topic where Europe has a very different view from, say, the USA. Maybe it's because the last 2 World Wars took place in our countries, but people tend to be far more reluctant here. And, like you said, those 2 wars have definitely changed our perception of what a nation, a "race", a country is.
Just like you, I'm far from being anarchist. I think the key term here is "freedom" and how you define it: Freedom of economy or individual freedom? To me, the emphasis is on the latter.
