Shares in Sony were 2 percent higher at 2,306 yen in early trade on Monday, after tumbling 4.5 percent Thursday. Tokyo markets were closed Friday.

Do we need an article every time Sony's stock moves a little?

If people care that much, just keep track on Yahoo:

Stock has gone down about $2 a share since this whole debacle started.  The dips they were experiencing back in March were much larger, for comparison.

well we do get threads when they go down..this would be a positive change to the trend I think :)

and also this is directly related to their briefing yesterday to the media about PSN. It's showing it had a good impact

I suppose.

Either way, these minor fluctuations in stock price are insignificant in the grand scheme of things.   SNE are a far cry from the $40 they were trending at in early 2010 after the Slim launch and Bravia redesigns, and they're way, way up from the $16 they were trading at when the economy crashed in 2008.
