I don't get the complains, i bought my 3DS with Nintendogs Cats and Street Fighter...and since i didn't have a DS before i've been buying all the DS hits at budget prices (Hotel Dusk for 8$ = WIN!).
I try to bring my 3DS with me everywhere. StreetPass is a fantastic feature and seeing the green LED just makes my day. ^_^
As for the games, I haven't been playing too much recently. Actually, let me correct that: I haven't been playing too many 3DS games recently, as Pokemon Black/White and Okamiden are my most played games on the system. 
But yeah, the circle pad works wonders on Okamiden. Wouldn't play it any other way.
not right now... but come June 17 it will become the most played console I have for weeks if not months.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing

This, why buy a system at launch if you're not interested in more than 1 game? We already knew pretty much the line up 'till June in February...
CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
I've been so busy with school and work that I simply don't have time to play it. Of course, I haven't bought any games for it either...
My stack of DS games to finish is still pretty big:
1. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
2. Zelda: Spirit Tracks
3. Picross 3D
4. Ace Attorney: Miles Edgeworth
5. 999
That said, I probably won't even buy any 3DS game until at least Christmas. OOT sounds cool, but I won't get it until after I beat Spirit Tracks. The 3D Mario game and Star Fox and the Layton/Phoenix Wright game is what I am most looking forward to.
But I wil definitely be getting a free copy of Excitebike in a couple weeks...
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D
Still playing Super Street Fighter 4. I have Pilotwings and Nintendogs Plus Cats, and I do still play them now and again, but not nearly as much as Street Fighter. I'm waiting for Zelda: OoT 3D, Star Fox 64 3D and Kid Icarus: Uprising for my "adventure and story" games, which the 3DS is currently lacking in a bit in terms of quality ones. I'll definitely play a lot more when those come out.
Super Mario 3D and Mario Kart 3D look promising as well, I just don't know how many games I can afford in a single year.
I still play it constantly, but I mainly play DS games on it as my DS lite is suffering a hing problem.

I'm calling the cops because you robbed that store!
Anyway, yeah I still play mine because Nintendogs is the type of game meant to be played for months, and the built-in software rocks.
This is the exact reason why I am waiting for a bigger roster of games on the 3DS.
