Nowadays, you get called a troll or something as soon as you try to post anything remotely negative about Sony. Even all you did was posting the article and said nothing.

It's also impossible to joke since everyone are so serious.

However, it's totally fine to post news of an announcement of an upcoming announcement of some unknown games that may be in development.

That issue doesn't seem at all big here. I went on this forum on another site and stated about an award I had gained, but they had no empathy, basically they compalined about me getting this award.

No shit, you made yourself look like a downright pathetic loser straight off the bat.

If i went on IGN and said i won the friendliest user on the Tekken board at gamespot id be laughed off the site.

I just cannot think of anymore off thetop of my head.

Are any of these people from 2011?

Problem is when the site opened in 2007, many users flocked in then and in 2008 (myself included) because it was new.

Second, heading towards the end of the generation means things aren't as exciting as they were in the beginning. Is the Wii a fad? Will GTA5 be the saviour? Heavenly Sword will save the PS3! Those stuff were quite interesting and kept the forums buzzing.

Also this has been addressed a lot already, but the site used to be more about SALES not games. Sure i don't mind it like this now, but it gave VGC more originality. Now it's like most gaming sites which is why it's become what it is. Well it seems ioi has been working on that for quite some time now so I'm still waiting.

Wow i was only 5 days off being a 2007 user, oh well 2008 seems to be the cool crowd to be in anyway.

Testing to see what year I actually joined.. I started lurking the site around 2007 and didn't sign up for ages and went back to lurking early 2011.

I can barely remember names, let alone their specific contributions to the site. Seriously, who keeps up with this?

I would say that I more or less know the personality and contributions of everyone with more than 10,000 posts. And there are quite a few of us now.

This is kinda silly though, most users join on a certain date but definitely don't become active immediately. I would say ive been most active by far this year. So to me im a 2011 user.

Probably not very noticeable though given this thread

Intel Core i7 3770K [3.5GHz]|MSI Big Bang Z77 Mpower|Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866 2 x 4GB|MSI GeForce GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr 2|OCZ Vertex 4 128GB|Corsair HX750|Cooler Master CM 690II Advanced|

The title of this thread implies that before 2011 there were notable users in this website. hmm, interesting.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

seeing how I was the most notable user of 2010 the lack of sufficient users like me for this year doesn't surprise me.
