I say call of duty 4 is the best game.

Super Mario Galaxy is a good game but I think Bioshock is a better game. Bioshock is a game I can play trough several times I dont really get tired of it.

I don't know what sites you are visiting but it seems to be more of a toss up between BioShock and Call Of Duty 4... Super Mario has only got a few nods for GOTY whereas most gaming sites choose BioShock or CoD4.

Of course SMG is the better game. Gamerankings anyone? But Bioshock is still fantastic and its not overrated, unlike Halo 3 which is.

First post!!! Ive been reading vgchartz forums for awhile and i must say you are some of the biggest nintendo fanboys ever. Its actually kind of pathetic to be a fanboy of a certain company in the first place. I actually own bioshock and smg and im positive the guys who say smg wins bioshock is overrated, never played bioshock so why are you posting your biased opinion? Now as someone who owns and has played both ill have to say SMG is the best game to come out this year, but bioshock def made the fps fun again. SMG was just sooo much fun and mario is such an important game when it comes out, and this one def delivered and showed alot of promise for the wii games to come.

Bioshock is an amazing game. Why would people say it is overrated? There wasn't the huge hype leading up to the release such as Halo 3, and every review I have read on it was positive. I haven't played SMG, but it looks fun, but what is new about it. It is Mario right. Bioshock is new, graphics are amazing, and gameplay was spot on. Someone mentioned the story was stupid, well u must have been playing a different game than I was. I am sure both will win awards, but Bioshock was the game that stood out for me this year.

Bioshock is IMO just a standard shooter, not even overly well designed and it didnt add anything to a genre that is pretty washed out and generic these days.
