Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I'm a huge Billy Joel fan, always will be.  Everyone else just competes for #2.  I was big into the Beatles for a while, shifted over to Dylan, with specks of Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, and a couple others in there in between... I've sorta broken off from Dyaln, and right now I'm trying to get into some local Israeli music.  Rona Kenan was a surprizingly good choice, considering I made the purchase based solely on album cover design.

But at the end of the day, it all comes back to Billy Joel.  This sounds stupid, I know, but he can write a song that sucks, and he knows it sucks, and I know it sucks, and we'll both admit it sucks, but I'd still prefer it over 70% of what's on the radio.

So I just discovered Love's Forever Changes...

!!! Incredible album! Some tracks are stronger than others, but the first track (Alone Again Or) and the last track (You Set the Scene) in particular are awesome. And the extras on the CD are pretty cool too.

Randomly listening to some Marvin atm...

hey,I've discovered that track "Alone Again Or" a few months ago also and fell in love. If you dig that kind of sound you should check out Calexico, especially an album called The Black Light. They're great.

Right now, my playlist has some tunes from Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, Lhasa, Arcade Fire and John Coltrane.
