I'm currently reading two seperate books at once.  I'm using a Kindle app on my Droid, though.  That way, it doesn't make me feel like a nerd!

What books? PlayBoy Chronicles, vol. I and II.?

The Diary of a Slave Girl (not even a sex slave, an actual slave slave!) and The Original Grimm's Fairy Tales.

I'm still an avid reader.

Yes. Although I'm way too optimistic. I read for about an hour or two a day, which gives me enough time to get through about one book every two to three weeks. But I seem to buy a new book every week. As a result, my 'to read' pile is always growing faster than my 'read' pile.

I bought a kindle recently and have been reading Isaac Asimov's robot series (Caves of steel and The Naked Sun, currently reading The Robots of Dawn). They're pretty good and free, and they will last me for a couple of months.

I've been willing to put an effort on reading more because it stimulates my imagination and expands my vocabulary. I find that I'm constantly using the dictionary function.

Is your vocabulary really that poor? Or do you read books in foreign languages (like English)?

Hahaha. When I saw the title I imediately thought it was a porn novel. And I have this feeling you're reading that second book together with your daughter.

Nah.  I'm actually reading it for myself.  There's like 700 fairy tales in that book.  I was reading an article on Yahoo! a while back about how fairy tales that we see interpreted today are nothing like the original works.  I was curious so I downloaded it from the amazon book store and started reading.  I was hooked!  Stories of murder, betrayal, and sex in the guise of children's stories.  I probably read about one fairy tale a day when the stories about slave life get too depressing (which is pretty much every single chapter--who knew?).

Anybody that thinks that video games and such are too violent needs to read some fairy tales.  It's no big deal for a parent to kill their children or for someone to kill their best friend in those stories!

Yes I recieved a Kindle for my Christmas gift. That sucker is the ultimate gadget. I really like how I can make the text bigger.

I have a goodreads profile, same username. I do read but with all my Facebook games and DS games I've been slacking.

So who wants to watch Charles in Charge?

2nd option. Those still are words that I've never encountered on the internet so I'm pretty sure that by your standards the average person has poor vocabulary.
