I wonder how the Gears numbers will do now that the beta has been released?
While there are some things that would be nice for Epic to clean up in the beta (level design of Trenches and spawning issues come to mind), this is, for the most part, one beautiful multiplayer experience...I would imagine positive word of mouth could drive future pre-order numbers.

But Uncharted had a 188% increase from preorders in week 1 sales. Not many games get that. Or even half that for the matter. By the way Uncharted 3 made the list despite being 28 weeks away from now!

I hate to break it to you but games that are really frontloaded tend to have great legs as well...look at any of the COD's after COD3, Halo 3 and Halo Reach for proof.
