Well it's been a few days since its release. So who here has bought the Conduit 2 and what are your impressions of the game?

 

Single player: Much better then the first. More enemy types. More locations. I do miss the ASE puzzles from the first game. The art style in my opinion has been greatly imporved. Love all the hidden items and conspiracy object with their stories. Also the hidden easter eggs are awesome!

 

Multiplayer: Well first off it works...so thats a plus. New levels are good but Im glad they brought back some of the old maps. I dont know about you guys but Ive had little lag in game. I've noticed I have better games when using the LAN adaptor then the Wifi. Also..Is Conduit 2 the first FPS to feature host migration? And hell...it works...congrat HVS you beat out COD on the xbox with a real working host migration system.

 

IMO, Conduit 2 is awesome. There are some bugs in multiplayer beign reported by other players..I havent seen any problems .  So what you guys think?

heard conduit 2 was a stepback from the first  ........conduit can never beat cod on xbox u gota be kidding me >_>

I picked it up the other day. So far I like it. The single player feels much better than the first one. The graphics look better too. I haven't played online yet, though.

FRAMERATE. HOW IS IT.

This game is awesome.

For me, the only thing that it didn't improve on from the first game is the story. Everything else is greatly improved.

Also, the weapons are fracking amazing! I love the Phase Rifle and Hive Cannon.

 

P.S.- Anyone know where the blueprints for the AEGIS Device are? I can't seem to find them anywhere >_>

@epicberserk. i ment the host migration..no the conduit couldnt compete with cod..but host migration on cod rarely works..that was what i was complementing hvs on.

 

frame rates great..tho there are some slow downs. online it because of either lag or host migration. in single player i swear its just random. k

I would say how it is, but I went into GS and they didn't even know it was out and said it wouldn't be in for another week >.<

Even though I pre-ordered.

So I'll wait until next week, but it looks to be a vast improvement!

I like it as far as comparing it to the original. Haven't tried multiplayer yet. Some of the new guns are cool, but i still haven't found anything to beat a Shotgun/Strike Rifle combo (again, no multiplayer yet, so we'll see.)

Yeah, retailer screwing is another way the gaming industry refuses to pick up the ball with the Wii.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

At my GameStop there was an entire section dedicated to Portal 2 and another for Mortal Kombat. When I got to the Wii section there was ONE copy of Conduit 2 hidden amongst the other Wii games.
