So in 2013 Microsoft will blow it out. and in 2014 Sony will blow both right out.

Depending on how all this plays out. I may be going X-Box next gen.

Acording to some tech people in GAF this specs are 50% more powerful than the PS3 or even 75%, so it's a quite nice jump.

yeah, but most multiplat games will be almost the same on the 3 consoles.  Also, when the PS4 and the 720 arrives they will be 300% more powerful or more than their previous editions.

First generation games on any console always look a bit crappy for the console full potential, so when Wii2 games begin to take some steam, the PS4 and 720 games will crush them in performance at least. (and in the case of the PS4 considering the first party of SONY, it will crush the Wii2 in all aspects).

No, they won't blow it out. Not while development costs are as high as they are. They are going to be more conservative than they were this gen.

The power gap next gen is going to be smaller than this gen. Small enough for all 3 consoles to share multiplats.

According to sources with knowledge of the project, Nintendo's next console could have a retail cost of anywhere between $350 and $400

AHAHAHAHA!  Come on IGN.  At least produce plausable lies.  Aside from the fact Nintendo would never make a Product over $300 in the current market, something that is 'near or slightly above the power of the XBOX360' would not cost $350.

Nintendo doesn't really care about the consumer as much as you make it sound...

They released the 3DS at $250, when it apparently costs like $100 to make, then I'm pretty sure they'll want to make just as much, if not more profit on the home console.

When did I ever say they were focused on the consumer.  Its just history.  Nintendo has never released a console over $300 (except the original NES).  They always focus on selling consoles at $250 or less.  For exactly the reason you saw with the Wii, lower cost equals more sales.  Plus, as a benefit, they can make a lot more money on a cheaper system than a system that takes $500 to make and they sell for $350 (aka, what MS and Sony did this gen).

Nintendo never makes a system that costs more to make than what they sell it as.  And if rumors are to be beleived, their going to make a system 'about the same as an XBOX360.  Why would that exceed $300 dollars when MS is selling the XBOX360 for less than that?

Six upcoming games you should look into:

When the PS4 and 720 arrive, the gap will be smaller than it was this generation. Nintendo would have put itself in a position where they will still get ports.

Sony and MS cannot go super-powerful because developments costs are high enough as they are already.

And they cannot use super high end hardware unless they want the boxes to explode from over heating or make the consoles the size of a PC tower.

Not to mention we are getting close to a point of diminishing returns graphics-wise.

Once again, the gap will be much smaller. Probably somewhere around likewhat PS2 was to X-box or maybe 360 to PS3. No one is 'crushing' anyone.

Sony's first party doesn't 'crush' Nintendo's first party.

LOL

So basically power=better games? The average consomer does not look at these aspects and many gamers don't bother too either. PS2 wasn't the most powerful in its generation and yet recieved the best support from developers. You must be on something to thing Sony's first party will CRUSH. Haven't you heard of Super Mario? Sony has advantage of having a solid combination of 3rd and 1st party but to say what you said is idiotic.

For what? In the graphic area we're nearly at top, online functionality just need some improvments; XBOX360 and PS3 almost match the PC experience, sound can´t go much further, the only aspect that need more power are motion control, 3D and other things that aren't essential for the core experience. I think next generaton should focus on efficiency rather than power.

Wii --> Stream?? Really?? as in "these rumors are 'stream coming out of my wii'- poor" ?

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

So it's coming out, what, 6 years after the 360, is only slightly more powerful than it, but it is the same size? Fucking lol.
