Week after week, I see the 360 placing last in Others. What's up with dat (in The Hurricane's voice)?

Seriously, I think that the 360 is doing well in "others", it's just that it's doing incredible stats in NA (mostly because 360 is an american console).

I wouldn't say it's doing horribly in Others... it's just not doing as well as the PS3 or the Wii. It's definitely 3rd compared to them, but not like Japan, that's another story altogether.

It just seems that most of the world aint to pro Microsoft for some reason. Altho if that was the case the whole world besides us would be running Apple computers. It confuses me sometimes but I guess it is brand name that sells. Like I figured from the beginning of the consol war:

360 = North America
PS2 = Europe
Wii = Japan

Altho the Wii can ultimatly defeart them in all counries.

Because Europe hates Microsoft with passion. Isn't the European Union still suing Microsoft for having a "monopoly"? Dang, its not Microsoft's fault that they made a OS that is easy to handle unlike Apple's or Linux

I don't know because I don't live in the "other" region but I suspect that years of having dramatically more expensive hardware (and software) than Japan and North America limited the impact of how expensive the PS3 is; along with this there are certain markets where the more expensive the PS3 is the more attractive it would be to a certain segment of the population.

Much like Japan, Microsoft doesn't really understand the tastes of gamers in many regions within the "Other" region.

Microsoft (to a certain extent) is in an awkward position because it is not seen as either an inexpensive alternative or as the most powerful (or at least most featureful) console on the market; people who want cheap fun will (potentially) choose the Wii and those that want the "best" console may choose the PS3.

Finally, I would say marketing ... Every "XBox 360" advertizement I have seen made for any region is absolute garbage; the XBox 360 does well in North America because its game library and features closely match what the core users of the XBox 360 want.

 It only sells well in UK, other Europe/Australia X360 is not that popular it seems.
