Please try to be realistic,reasonable and specific. I'll try update/edit the OP to see how VGC collectively think of how a Wii2 should look/feature.

Dear Nintendo: For the Wii 2, I want it to make me a sandwich.

1. A Direct 3D capable GPU.

2. A downclocked 4 or 8 core Power6 CPU.

3. 2 GB of DDR3 and 2 GB of 1T-SRAM.

4. Holographic Storage for game media (Nintendo has a patent on this) or at least flash based media.

5. SSD.

6. 802.11n Wi-Fi.

7. Fully robust online infrastructure with steam integration.

8. Blow us away with something innovative.

To be able to transfer all of my games I downloaded and paid for to the new system and play them on the 3DS as well WITHOUT repurchasing them.  Seriously, I paid for my games...they are mine!  This is my only rant with Nintendo, they won't let you transfer or play between two Wii consoles the games you purchased on one.  Even apple let's me have everything I paid for on all of my devices.  Other than that....super excited, but I don't believe the rumor to be a new piece of hardware if true at all.

Dear Nintendo: For the Wii 2, I want the same thing I want with every console. Some kick ass fun games.

For the Wii 2, I want you to do your thing and ignore the "core gamers" that abandoned you and don't really know what they are talking about. It hasn't failed you since the DS.

Lol, but seriously I have to agree with Khuutra. That's downright impossible considering the historic price of Nintendo consoles. It will be at most 350 dollars, and that's even unlikely.

300 should be the price.
