Well, it just proves Nintendo should go third party. Whenever they announce Wii 2 it being Nintendo they will call it Wii Mii or Wii YU. Leave the real consoles like Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4 when they come out in 2012. When Xbox 4 and PS5 come out in 2019, Nintendo will be making mobile games and ports for Sony/MS. Hell MS may end up buying them before 2017. Book it. No way I am wrong in this year of 2011. - Half of the internet 10 years ago.

2021-*continues to play Persona 5 Strikers on Switch*

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I have a bad habit of letting my emotions get the better of me and overstating my case. The Switch's 1st party lineup this year is bad, but it's not THIS level of absolute shit.

I guess the point of this necrobump is to bring it to people's attention what the Wii's fifth year looked like in terms of software and how that compares to Switch which is about to enter its fifth year next week.

While the Wii's 2011 is typically looked back at in a way that it only sold 10m units for the year, the people who remember its software lineup consider 10m an exceptionally strong performance based on the games it got. Other consoles that had similarly barren lineups couldn't even sell 5m during such years.

You get me in a way most other people don't, Rol.

When a thread this old gets necrobumped it's always interesting to see how many of the posters in it still post today.

Hue.

Someone dug out a corpse here.

Today I learned what a "necrobump" is.

It's only the first half thus far and the second half can very well be much tighter packed, like in 2019.
