Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii Play 2: Motion plus bundle

^^^^ or maybe me and my friends dont like to play these games??? and the ones that actually do have Wii have controllers so i see no need to waste my money on this??? Try again

I may consider this. I have four controllers, but no MP and I intend on buying the inevitable ZeldaSS that is bundled with a controller, so buying this would be a good idea too as it will get me two controllers for considerable savings.

E3 is where the big news will be dropped, not a moment sooner

No I won't. It is clear they are going to use motion plus more for stupid mini-games, given the last trailer shown. They think mini-games and puzzles are exciting and fun, yet they are just atrocius and boring and break the action, and then there is no replay value at them. Nintendo doesn't even know what Zelda is about (according to one interview, they say people play Zelda for the puzzles!), so why should I expect a good game?

Yeah. How dare them not make games cater to me!?

Are you being ironic?

Above: still the best game of the year.

It actually looks interesting, I have enjoyed most of the Wii games, so this is a definite possibility on my buy list

I just realized what a brilliant idea a new WarioWare: Motion Plus game would be!!

Up until now nose-picking has always been a binary operation in the series (finger in, finger out) but with the power of motion plus you could have uncountably many ways to perform the interaction between digit and nostril!

Just thing about it: different angles of entry, twisting the finger inside in various ways, distorting the nasal cavity, it opens up a whole new world of possibilties!

This must be made!!

edit: here are some quick proofs of concept (not directly shown for benefit of  surprise factor)

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

The should have called it Wii Play Plus.

Eh, the last thing we need is another party game. But at least Nintendo is showing a little bit of support for motion plus. Still they have a long way to go to show they are serious about motion plus. Sports games and Party/mini games, with a helping of Zelda are not going to cut it Nintendo.

I want my Zangeki localization, dammit!

hope it flops as big as flingsmash did so that Nintendo finally makes a real Motion-Plus game other than Zelda SS

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Some new info on the title. Confirmed European launch on the 24th of June 2011, and will come packed with the special red Wii Remote Plus. As previously stated the game is a collection of 12 minigames, here are some explained:

In Wind Runner, your Mii character will be sporting a pair of roller skates and carrying an umbrella. Use your Wii Remote Plus to open the umbrella which will in turn carry your Mii character along a race course. By strategically angling your Wii Remote Plus your Mii character can change direction, jump and increase speed as it makes its way to the end of the course while dodging obstacles in its path.

In Cone Zone you tilt the Wii Remote Plus in the correct position to balance ice cream within a giant waffle cone and stop it from falling, while extra scoops are being added.

In the minigame Skip Skimmer where you can skip stones along a lake, there is a Score Mode in which up to four players take it in turn to skip stones through a series of rings with the aim of getting to the target at the end. By strategically angling the Wii Remote Plus you can compete against your friends to get the highest score in order to win the game.

Other minigames are:

Treasure Twirl where the Wii Remote Plus acts as a “winch” to collect deep-sea treasure.
Spooky Search will see you working with up to three of your friends to apprehend and collect wayward spirits that have escaped through your TV screen - and into your living room. Using the speaker on the Wii Remote Plus, you are up against the clock to try and locate the ghosts. By pointing your Wii Remote Plus off screen and anywhere around your living room – whether that be above or behind you, your goal is to snare as many ghosts as you can and ‘drag’ them one by one back into your TV screen.
