Not bad. Good for the 360.

Good compared to its history, sure, but 1 in 5 units failing is still very poor.

Yeah... the Slim model done a good job... just 1.1% of failures in 2010 and 2011.

The Xbox seriously can't have had a 50% failure rate, how are these stats found?

Microsoft have done really well in bringing that failure rate down.

I hope the next Xbox is made more to the quality of PS3, will be pretty hard getting it to Wii levels and keeping the tech relevant at the same time.

How many submissions were logged?

In total we measured 511,987 submissions, we discarded submissions in our final result after the 500,000 mark.

What was the demographic of the survey?

32% answered questions relating to the Wii
38% answered questions relating to the PS3
30% answered questions relating to the 360

I put the link in OP... there are other graphs too.

Yeah, because the Gamecube wasn't technologically relevant.....

The GC also wasn't pushing full HD, 3D and lord only knows what else.

360 failure rates are always going to be high because of the older models sadly. From the newer models I've read/heard no problems from online friends and local friends alike, but the test is still if the console can last atleast 3 years without any major problems, and it hasn't been out long enough.

I'm suprised by the PS3 failure rates, though my friends launch unit just died. Still not close to the 360 failure rate but thats way too high.

Good for the Wii, though my launch title has the "dead pixels/graphics overheating" problem that Nintendo won't fix out of the one year warranty.

It's just that simple.
