this looks and sounds better than the first, not liking the hold c button down to run but the other mapped buttons sound fine. My god the voice acting is bad, is this 32 bit era game??? At least your british computer sounds alright. hopefully it turns out ok.

Only watched 3 of them so far and OMG is the voice acting bad!! I mean the first one had some pretty bad lines but at least the delivery was quite good. Now the lines and the delivery are laughable. I may be judging it too soon, but I am already disappointed with this game and it is not even released yet.

yeah the voice acting is pretty bad and the dialog is just as bad, but overall it looks good. graphics and sound are better and the game looks more intense. but please no more pod hunting objectives. may pick this up but we'll see people say about it.

btw, i thought Prometheus was dead? guess ill have to go back and check. also does anybody know if this supports the headset?

I hope this does ok, HVS is in a weird position they cant compete with the big boys on the PCs and HDs and they have to produce on a console that doesnt have anywhere near the FPS install base that those other ones do. Good luck

Honestly speaking, I found those videos rather off-putting... and I'm a Wii only owner (occasionally play games on PC).

I didn't have any funds for an FPS late last year and wanted to give HVS a chance at my money, but from the looks of those videos, if Conduit 2 turns out like I fear, I'll be putting my money on GoldenEye.

^^^Normally i would say to wait and see, but GE is good and i seriously doubt that HVS is better than Eurocom (they made the underrated Agent under FIre) I think GE will blow this out the water

The headset was the selling point when they announced the title so I'd say yes lol

Voice acting for the chick and prometheus wasn't bad, sounds like they didn't keep the original voice actor for Ford, which is a shame since he was pretty decent, but this new guy cracks jokes... hopefully there will be some entertaining one liners....

Overall the videos took this from a pass to a maybe.  The Conduit looked good... in areas... and like crap in many others... this one seems like they worked on the little details more... still the little details in the background needs work, not really looking better but artists that can mask things better, I've said this before the first game and now this one would look SO MUCH BETTER if they just got rid of some of their artists and hired a decent new staff...

Otherwise the controls and game play I was never mad at, they were the best parts of the game, it was rather difficult and I liked that, by how BS that DC level looked seems like nothing changed there... I'm so tempted I just don't want to spend money if it's not as polished as I want...

Dude GoldenEye stomps this game into the ground I can assure you of that much AND it's on sale at Gamestop for their powersaver sale... basically you can get the game for bargain bin prices and it's worth every penny, best FPS last year if you ask me, it had the one thing other FPS games didn't have last year which was a rock solid singleplayer that had a damn good story to it, with a movie like flair, really good AI, and multiple ways to tackle levels to boot. 

You're doing yourself a diservice if you wait on Conduit 2 to see which one to get lol
