Yes, it's real, this game exists. It is called 'Card Sagas Wars'. I am not sure but I think that I have seen some Vgchartz users using these characters style in his profile.

Looks like it is based off the Mugen engine.   Now, his definitely shows that fighter version of Pokemon would be interesting.
