Graphics are great, but if you took the maps and put them in killzone3 it would be great also, it's the map design not the game engine. And I'd have to say considering everything that the Crysis2 engine sucks, because of it's AI and character animations. We are talking lame, Killzone3, Uncharted2, all the recent games had vastly supperior animations and AI. But i'm still enjoying the game, it has a Half Life 2 feel to it, but after seeing one too many 'limbo deaths' ( dead guys stuck in a limbo pose), I stopped taking the game seriously. And the aliens don't do anything for me either. So maybe an 8-8.5 so far (near the hive) because I am enjoying it. By comparison, Red Dead was a solid 10 for me, Killzone3 was a 9.2 but I haven't tried the multiplayer yet.

It's the hands down undisputed best looking game on all of consoles, that's what all the fuss is about.

ive just finished getting the alien samples and getting further so far 2.5h in, i still hold my opinion that gameplay is not that good and grafix are hit and miss, and all points re: gunplay remain

Oh dear someones in defence mode. You do know that sometimes people don't have there trophies updated right? I mean sometimes I don't update my trophies for a week. So before you go all weird and go into stalker mode checking up on peoples trophies and shit make sure there trophies are updated first. I mean its a dam video game dude and you've gone into detective mode over it. You know how sad that is??. So what if people like the OP and I don't agree with the game having the best looking graphics on consols.

So what. I think KZ3, UC2 and GOW3 look and run better than this game. I think Crysis 2s gameplay is by far the best FPS gameplay I've played in years and the game looks mind blowing in certain parts but the gaphics are not how most 360 Fans are making them out to be.

Dude just accept that theres people with differant opinions to yours and go play Crysis 2 instead of arguing over it. This is getting lame now

Apolagise for what. Yeah I did read the whole thread and just because he posted a review some site wrote it doesn't get rid of the fact that your in defense mode over Crysis 2. You've gotten so sensitive over it that your checking peoples trophies and googling there reviews lol. Thats what my ex girlfriend did when she though I was cheating on her. Checking my emails and phone messages and shit. Your doing it over a dam computer game LMAO.

I mean I came into this thread and the first impression I got was it was a copy and pasted review. Like theres no where in this thread where he says its a review he wrote and at the bottom in the little paragraph he added he tells us  he recommends it and that he only played the game for an hour! Maybe your sensitivity tingled to much and you missed that part yeah?

His right though, it's just a video game and the guy went all 4chan detective over the whole thing. The OP is silly, but Koweniki seems to be taking this whole thing way to seriously.



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

dude's right on with this review. The game is good. I love the level design and the fact that enemies come at you from both sides. That's what I loved about dead space 2. The game get's a 9/10 from me. The only thing holding it back are the character models and the AI. At one point I noticed an enemy sliding on the ground and one enemy walked right bye me,even though I was clearly visible. So is it better than killzone 3,in some area's it is,such as textures and lighting,but the character models and AI just plain suck compared to killzone 3. Everything such as explosions and that kind of thing is debatable and pretty close. So is crysis 2 the new graphics king? Well,let's just say that if it's not,if comes pretty dam close. So yea,I'll admit that I was wrong about crysis 2 being overhyped. Although the game is'nt perfect and has some issue's that I already mentioned,I've really enjoyed my time with it so far.

have you tried to grab an enemy yet? they look terrible up close but enviroments look better later on. i feel the visuals stand out more when you are in small to medium size surroundings, inside building especially look good
