Xbox is $100 cheaper.  Not sure what you mean by same price?

Also specs don't appear to matter since the 360 version of Crysis 2 has some advantages over the PS3 version.  So saying it's easily more powerful seems to be incorrect.  If that were the case then every multiplay would be obviously better on the PS3 but we see that it's rarely the case.  Even going by raw specs the PS3 lags behind the 360 is many regards.

Blu-ray is definitely a bonus though and the main reason I bought a PS3 in the first place.

Why did you buy Crysis 2 on the 360?

DF and LOT both said/showed that the ps3 has some advantages, while the xbox one has advantages. they have their different cons to, but like i said based off their analyse, they are the same, and if you say other wise your really pulling straws.

ps3 also upscales DVD's so whats your point. and has had built in wifi since launch

so how is psn terrible, i bet you cant give a ligitimate reason why live is better.

hardly any dedicated server games (playstation has wa more)

small multiplayer counts, i think the most so far is 24. (psn has 30, 32, 60, and i believe 256)

no internet browser.

very closed network (cant get games with features like LBP and Portal)

it started the paid DLC

psn has netflix, vudoo, mlb.tv, nhl network, hulu, and even espn3 through the browser (all of these at no extra charge)

the only thing it has the psn doesnt (though the free steam does) is cross game chat.

so they are paying $60 to use their own internet connection and are happy about it.

theres a reason paid for window live failed. people new that werent paying for anything, they were getting scammed

I agree with some of what your saying but you also have to understand that a lot of people just have 1 system.  And 50-60 bucks isn't that much to begin with.  You also have to add all of the people who just have live for Halo or CoD or Gears of war.

You want reasons why LIVE is better?

1. Ease of use/Better Integrated

2. Party Chat and Cross game chat

3. Faster updates and downloads

4. XBLA > PSN arcade (or whatever its called)

5. Last.FM and ESPN

What games does PSN have dedicated servers for? Killzone? MAG? Both of those games multiplayer are terrible so I could care less. You may like them but the majority and myself enjoy the multiplayer of 360 games much more. Every other big multiplat shooter uses the same server system so that argument is void.

The internet browser is bad on the PS3 and to argue otherwise is a waste of time. If someone doesn't have a PC or laptop at home then you have an argument but the 99.9 % of other people who do will use the PC or laptop for surfing the internet.

LIVE is worth the $60 a YEAR. Thats $5 a month, which actually to pay full price you would be a fool. Deals are to be found everywhere. If you can't afford it then you need a new job. For someone like you who only owns the PS3 you don't understand but for people who own both consoles they all agree LIVE is better. You can back up your opinions with some uber bias PS3 owners on this site but every single person I know who owns both consoles despises PSN compared to LIVE. For the record 7 of my friends including myself own both consoles and we all agree LIVE is better.

Huh? Was that directed at me?  Because i have live and i love it.  Some people dont and i can understand that.  I can also understand why some people would prefer live.

1) again an abscure statement that xbox users say all the time, with nothing to back it up

2)already mentioned that was a pro for it, the only thing it has goin for it. and psn has chat, so unless you really want to talk to someone playing another game, it really isnt even a factor.

3)again a falsity that xbox users love to say. that is completely dependant upon your internet speed. nut nice try

4) completely opinion, they share 90% of their titles. and tons of psn exlusives like flight control, wipeout, echochrome, etc.

5)psn has last.fm and espn (as i mentioned). through the web browser which isnt great, but still performs adequately, and id still rather have it than not. plus it has netlix, hulu, vudoo, mlb.tv, nhl network. all at no additional fee.

 resistance, warhawk, many more, and just because youre a biased xbox owner doesnt mean either killzone or mag are terrible. reviews, and people on this site, strongly disagree with you. and just becasue you dont like the games, doesnt mean dedicated servers arent as good p2p. becasue its vastly superior, and youre paying microsoft to use your own internet, that u already pay for.

and theres a reason pc users who have a way better network than both psn and live dont pay for it. because they know they would be getting scammed.

also dont pretend like u own a ps3, your only lying to yourself.

Then they are delusional because PSN does nothing better than LIVE but LIVE does everything better than PSN. You can compare the 2 because they have similar features but LIVE has more and does it better. Its not an argument. Your only argument is one is free and has an internet browser (a really crappy one). If you can't afford $60 a year then you need to stop worrying about games and worry about your economical situation.

You don't believe I have a PS3? Then look up my PSN ID: WhamBamThanxSam...I have God of War III, God of War Collection, UC1, UC2, Demon's Souls, Metal Gear Solid 4 (waste of $10 most overrated movie I mean game of all time) and Killzone 3 on my trophy collection (traded it in cause multiplayer was bad).

Just because I'm not up Sony's ass like you doesn't mean I don't have a PS3. You have no idea what LIVE has to offer and how it compares to PSN because you don't have it. If PSN was superior then why do people still pay for LIVE? Why does the 360 have a larger userbase online for multiplats then PSN?

Edit: Yeah PSN does have chat. It has chat that has horrible voice quality and unless everyone on PSN buys a $100 bluetooth headset it will always be that way.

Edit 2: Add to the list of LIVE features, you can download a trial version of every single XBLA game before buying.

Edit 3: I even have PSN Plus (which I hope you don't because if you do you're a hypocrit) because I wanted to play the MK demo early. That is how big a fan of MK I am. I'm buying it for the PS3 because the DPad is better on the dualshock (one thing they got right on the controller).

So you want to talk about ripping off the customer? How about when you cancel PSN Plus you lose access to all the themes, demos, games and everything you purchased under PSN Plus unless you keep renewing your subscription. Hmm seems like MS isn't the only one out to "scam" the customer huh?

What is the difference between Last.FM and something like Pandora? I know I can access both through the PS3 browser but I haven't tried Last.FM.
