I hope more developers use this game engine instead of Unreal Engine 3.

Codename Kingdoms will probably look even slightly better then Crysis 2 since it is being made spefically for the 360.

I don't. CryEngine 2 is vastly superior to CryEngine 3. Hell, Doom 3 looks far better than Crysis 2.

I meant for consoles since I don't give a rats ass about the PC.

Don't worry its nothing that should concern you.

Not a big fan of 1st person shooters so I highly doubt that I ever will play Crysis 2 or Codename Kingdoms.

Crysis isn't 3rd person.

And from what I heard Kingdoms isn't either

I meant to say 1st person shooters.  I like third person shooters for the most part.

The teaser trailer looks interesting.  Also even though I don't really like 1st person shooters its nice to see a German company come up with a really good game engine.

It will be interesting to see how Kingdoms turns out, along with the billion polygon thing from Lionhead, it seems only now are devs unlocking the 360's true potential.

Thats because in all honesty most haven't even tried to unlock the 360's true potential...they just grab the Unreal Engine and call it good most of the time.

Its about time devs started trying to squeeze out amazing graphics.

Seece and yo_john117 pretty much said it all in these two lil posts.  They're paraphrasing statements made by some very talented industry engineers that have publically commented on why 360 games haven't progressed graphically the way PS3 exclusives have and its NOT because of hardware limitations.

I see the 360 having quite the 2nd life for the next 3 years due to, in general, these new engines impressing the core and Kinect advances fascinating the casual.  Don'tknow if this was all intentional, but it's quite impressive the way it looks to play out.
