No, it's because tablets are a stupid concept. They're netbooks that don't do as much. Or smartphones that you can't fit in your pocket or make calls with. Mind you, the iPhone isn't very good at making calls either.

I'm sorry bud, but I have to agree with Kudistos.  It failed because tablets aren't a very good concept.  You could take the EXACT hardware that is inside of an iPad, have Microsoft come out with an operating system that is dedicated solely to it that is an EXACT replica to the iPad, and if Microsoft would have released this before the iPad was announced, it still would have been a failure.  The reason the iPad has become a success is because of its name.

I don't hate or love Apple (or any company ). I am giving you a clear, unbias and honest opinion based on my research ( related to a recent job I did).

I will repeat the part you ignored. The media praised Windows 7, Windows Mobile and Kinnect (in some cases higher than any apple product) to the clouds. Where is the bias to Apple products??

I'm not an Apple fanboy. I have an iPad 2, and its by far the greatest thing I've ever purchased. Apple products may get hyped like no tomorrow, but that doesn't mean they don't make amazing products. That's all I'm gonna say.

Microsoft has been working on tablets for many years, maybe even decades. They were HORRIBLE. They were all around bad, bad battery life, bad size, bad UI, bad apps, bad bad bad.
