The Empire Strikes Back

Goldfinger (James Bond Part 3) : 2-22 are all great, but Part 3 is the best.

Oh, and A Shot in the Dark and The Pink Panther Strikes Again are both much better than the original Pink Panther.

Aliens, Terminator 2, Empire Strikes Back, Die Hard 2, The Dark Knight, and American History X (sequel to American History IX)

i think you must of mistaken Die Hard 2 with 3

3 was the best of the 4 movies, the one with Samual Lee Jackson

With a Vengeance was awesome too but Die Harder was my favourite.

StarWars:AttackOfTheClones, Phantom menace didn't do it for me, but attack of the clones totally amazed me. Best sequel to a film ever!

HAHAHAHAHAHA. You so silly. :P

Seriously though, Toy Story 3 was epic. I also agree with the empire strikes back. That was the best star wars movie hands down.

Hey I was serious, I was alittle dissapointed by Phantom Menace, but when Attack of the Clones came out I was freaking exstatic. I gotta say I anticipated Revenge Of the Sith more then Attack of the Clones. But Attack of the Clones in my opinion was a better movie. Of course I love all the StarWars films and Empire Strikes Back is definatly one of the best movies ever made!

This is the best explanation of how bad it is. (There are 9 parts)

Honestly I'm not going to watch 9 parts of radiculous hatred. I really loved the film and it is my favorite in the series and favorite sequel of all time. You can hate it all you want but that doesn't make it any worse of a film. A true StarWars fan would see the redeeming quality in the prequel trilogy, even if they were dissapointed the prequels are still very good films.

Just you wait till 2012 and the Phantom Menace gets re-released in 3D. You'll see that their are alot of people who love the prequels. I bet Phantom Menace will do great!

Dark Knight, Empire Strikes Back and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

It's funny how there are a number of good sequels to comic book films.  Superman 2, X-Men 2, Spiderman 2 and The Dark Knight are all equal to or better than their predecessors.  Many would argue that Batman Returns and Blade 2 also fit into this category.  Personally, I'll always have a soft spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.  :)

Anyway, most of the big names have been covered, but some other great sequels are:

Evil Dead 2

Drunken Master 2 (aka The Legend of Drunken Master)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Oldboy (if you think of it as a sequel to Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance... why not!)

Kill Bill Vol. 2 (sort of counts?)

Shrek 2

The Road Warrior (Mad Max 2)

Hates Nomura.

Does Toy Story 3 count? Is it a sequel to a sequel? I'm so confused.

Yes, it counts.

The Dark Knight

Terminator 2

Toy Story 2, 3

I could make a huge list, but these are the ones that stand out the most to me. Also out of those 3, TDK is probably my favorite.
