May I ask why? Your good for a while still. At least a year or two till you really need to upgrade.

My only suggestion would be move to a 64bit OS and add 2 - 4GBs of ram.

if you really must upgrade something I would say replace the Mobo with a AM3 one and add 8GB of DDR3 and Win 7 64 bit, as for any other changes we will have to see how the next gen of graphics cards will stack up, the one you have should be able to max any current game at your resolution anyway.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

If you must you can keep the PSU (Probably) and the GPU and get an core i7 CPU a New motherboard to support an new CPU and 4-8gb of DDR3 ram.

And if you have money left over, buy an new case made of aluminin if you dont have one.

All that could set you around 500 dollars depending how you shop around

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

So you guys think i shouldnt upgrade right now?, btw, my mobo is an AM2 PLUS one. Is it necessary to get an AM3?

Wow.. you actually found the one review which managed to place the 6850 above the 5850 in one particular benchmark.. congratulation.

For you and the rest of the world, the 5850 beats the crap out of an 6850, so replacing a 5850 with an 6850 actually downgrades your system (which is more than good enough at your screen resolution).

With these parts you should be able to play everything on maximum settings, especially at 1440x900, so why upgrade ?

Maybe add 2GB RAM, but I wouldn't exchange anything from your current setup.

no man i mean its give almost the same results only 3 to 5 fps difference but the 6850 is cheaper so why not getting it ?! but if he want better performance with a little raise  in price let him get the 6950 its alot better than the 5850.

but he already OWNS the 5850. Why do you want him to exchange it with the inferior card ?
