i completely inderstand why CVG said this game has the best graphics on consoles



You may have trouble paying attention to the story, though, given Crysis 2's constant sensory assault. This is the best-looking console game to date.

Looks good, albeit generic. That motion blur is killin me.

I pre-ordered the ps3 version yesterday. I expect the SP to be good, I don't really care about the MP especially after the demo.

I don't own a PS3 but I'd love to buy one just to compare the graphics with Killzone 3 cause that looked amazing.

Anyhow, ya'll can show me how many youtube videos there are but from what I played on the beta and what I read on the sites I hang on and that usually suites my taste, Crysis 2 is not the top console contender for graphics..

Where can i read that editor (is that Petter?) text, is it in the review or in a hard to find blog post?

Btw you can not judge Crysis 2 from the demo since it's only a multiplayer map. The SP levels are the real deal.

Mate, he didn't even want to compare Crysis 2 to Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360 when it cames to graphics, unless he played them side by side.

And he stated in the KZ3 review that the only game that can give this game a run for its money, is Uncharted 2.

Thus I think its quite clear that Uncharted 2 and KZ3 are better looking.. without much question,

Its still a very good looking game ^^... But a console king? No.

like wise it doesn't matter how many reviews sites and analysis like lens of truth and digital foundry claiming that ps3 exclusive(KZ3 for example) looks better than everything on console right now, micro fanboys will still deny it since the game isn't on 360.

or "(insert ps3 exclusive) doesn't look impressive gears/halo looks better" post? either way i can find one specially near alan wake release which failed so bad to live up to the 360 fans graphics hype.

Yeah show me the posts because I don't remember anyone saying Halo and Gears are the best looking console games out there. I remember Halo:Reach's technical accomplishments being mentioned and being some of the best, not the overall graphics. Nice try though.

Well thats weird because there is an article on Gamesradar mentioning Crysis 2 and saying its possibly the best looking console game ever. I guess we'll find out next week.
