Although I agree when people are upset abot the connectivity issues and the crappy FPS. But people say that graphically the ps3 version is inferior and the 360 shits all over it which just isn't true. You can check the comparison video and screenshots for yourself and see that.


I watched the comparison video and while the PC version obviously looks best the 360 version looks better than the PS3 version. The PS3 version is blurrier.

And all the reviews, previews, hands-on have confirmed that the PS3 is an inferior port. The demo is shit. Crytek said the PS3 would have it's own develoment cycle and it didn't, it was ported. Crytek said they maxed out the PS3, they didn't, it's a port and it's not using the PS3's SPUs. They stated both versions would be identical, they are not. They said both versions would have the best graphics on both consoles, they don't.

@Solid_Raiden, If it wasn't for the jackasses at Crytek constantly spewing this BS, none of this would be taking place. This is on them not us, so maybe you would be more comfortable with your cronies back on the crysis forums.


So, having the arguably superior version isn't good enough now. Look at the comparison man, crytek said they were getting a little more performance out of the ps3, and the ps3 has better shadows, textures, lighting etc. If you want to keep cryng about how the ps3's version is so bad then go ahead, but the only hands on anythng that said the ps3 version was inferior was IGN and that had already been called as bs by other sites who had played the game. But it doesn't really matter, you can have your own opinion and that is fine.

P.S. I don't post at the crysis forums smart guy, I just use google to find comparions, because I personally lke to find the truth of things and be a smart consumer and I'm still on the fence about my purchase. But thank you for your caring.

Well I guess the pc version is just blurry too then. Look at the energy bar on the ps3 and pc versions. Both blurry sometimes right, but the 360 is smoother. It's due to the blurr effects on those two versions. And yet I hardly believe the 360 is better then the pc. I think the 360 version looks more appealng in the video because it's darker and more attractve at the default setting. But the ps3 version can look just as dark after tweeking the brightness settings. People have the same opinion though and imo in motion it's hard to say one is inferior to the other.

Did you played both demos? I played.

I have indeed. And besides from being darker which gave the illusion of being more attractive, they looked close to me. After I darkened the ps3 version a tad they looked the same. better lighting and textures on the ps3 when I looked hard. The killer for me though is that the ps3 version seems to run at a lower fps.

 EDIT: There is also a lot more motion blur on ps3 whch isn't a positive. It's too much and sickening.

On a side note, doesn anyone know any good deals on purchasing crysis 2 other then the amazon $10 credit? I don't really want to spend $60 on this...

The demo looks horrible, seriously. Many many multiplatform games from 2009 look better than what I've seen in the PS3 demo.

That being said, I loved the demo. The controls are very good and it's simply fun to play so I'm still considering buying it eventually.

Who cares about the energy bar? I'm talking about the game itself. I said the PC is the best version followed by the 360 version and slightly behind that is the PS3 version but both console versions look very similar.

This, (aside from that the controls are not very good to me nor is it fun to play).

Me not buying it should not come as a surprise then ^^, but yeah the demo looks really bad.

I was pumped for the game, because i am a huge sci-fi as long as i get a good SP campaign, ill deal with it. Even if the multi sucks (FEAR 2). But im gonna have to pass, not so much cause of the negative stuff, but i just started Killzone3, and i still play BOs and GE for Wii. Dont need another FPS right now
