The latest court documents obtained by PSX-SCENE reveal that the subpoena for information on Geohot's PayPal account may be limited only to parties who sent money and reside in California and only funds that were sent prior to the legal fund donations.

I'm save! *turns on his PS3 again*

I really wonder how any previous paypal payments could be relevant to their case

It's extremely relevant to their case. Sony is trying to find evidence that Geohot illegally distributed Sony's PS3 keys for his own profit. It's not the crux of Sony's case against him, however if they are able to show that he did it will look very bad for Geohot.

I don't live in Cali nor is my PS3 hacked, not all people who donated are trying to jailbreak their PS3s' lol

And what do you mean by "your info" exactly?

well a lot of people are gonna claim they gave money to him for ebay stuff or cause they were glad of his works on some other subject... there is no way to link this to PS3 ^^ it's all just circumpstancial evidence, nothing tangible.

I loved to play with my cousin in Saturn... we used to scare the hell out of his sister...

And Virtua Fighter were so gorgeous =]

No one find Sega Evil... maybe this is why RE continued in PS and Sega left gaming scene... the only non-evil company is nintendo that is run by the emo force by the way people threat them.

I don't think like this... but some would say Sega is so weak that it doesn't serve even to be Evil

I'm really pissed off. I have 2 friends who downloaded Yakuza 4, and I lost all respect for them. This is all the hackers fault for providing such tools. It is not fair to the devs that created the game, and those who prefer to be legit gamers. I bought my copy fair and square and I want justice!

You are right Geohot and other hackers need to pay for forcing your (ex?)friends to pirate games. If you want justice rat on your (ex?)friends with that stupid anti piracy hotline. If they like the game you may be able to sway them to purchase it new for $40(if they are in the USA).

OT: SInce this is a civil case, lets assume Sony proves to the court that geohot profited exclusively due to the hack. I still am not clear how this would effect the case......of course I dont know a thing about the law.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
