I thought this Game was a Kincet exclusive

I'm sure a lot of people do.  It's the wonder of selective marketing and how poorly most sites consider their headlines.

Basically it's multiple platform but will allow for use of Kinect on 360.  I don't think it will use Move but could be wrong - I've never looked into that.

I guess it might represent a new, even crazier type of exlsuive - the motion controller exclusive, available on multiple platforms but only using the motion controller on one.

As for being timed this is the first hint I've heard of that.  I could see MS angling for it.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I'm just going to come out and say it.

This game is Kinects last chance in my eyes.( I don't give a crap about sales)

If this turns out better with Move then I am not sure why anyone would get Kinect except for party/family/social games.

This is why at times like this I am glad that people like you dont make the decisions...

Also Child of Eden doesnt have Move suppport so wtf are yo utalking about with this?

Ok firstly relax. Jeez.

I've only been tracking the Kinect version, so I assumed that the PS3 version would work with Move. I think that's probably an easy mistake to make, but nevertheless, it seems I am wrong.

''I am glad that people like you dont make the decisions''

I think I would be able to make some pretty good decisions if I was working in that industry - most probably much better than you.

My evaluation of Kinect is based on what type of experiences I CAN ENJOY.

Seriously, sometimes I think some people get confused about what the are supposed to be wanting from the games industry.

Well considering at what point in the console cycle we are, I am simply saying that of everything on the horizon this has me most excited, so possibly the truly amazing experiences that could be implemented with a 3d camera will be had next gen.

That's not such a crazy statement now is it?

I need some clarification. It seems that the publisher / developer themselves have not confirm move compatibility but every online shop I visit advertised it as a move title

Example:

http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/games/child-of-eden/78234  Note that it is under Category: Move

http://www.ozgameshop.com/ps3-games/child-of-eden-game-move-compatible-ps3 Says: Move Compatible

http://www.game.co.uk/Games/PlayStation-3/Shooter/Child-of-Eden-move-compatible/~r349664/?s=child of eden Again, says: Move Compatible

One of the site is my prefered online shopper and the other 2 are the biggest gaming specialist shop in the UK and the US respectively. I understand that sometime retail make assumption but surely they would not advertise hardware compatibility unless they've receive some kind of confirmation from the publisher?

Yes I do CARE about sales.

BUT

what I mean

is that I don't want people throwing record breaking sales in my face when I am discussing gameplay experience.

haha defending my accusation with an accusation... eh whatever. Quite going to 360  threads if you dont like the 360/kinect. Its kinda annoying.

No you are making assumptions into what you think people want. Kinect will lead to virtual reality, which is the guaranteed future. This is not a bad thing imo

So although the developer hasnt said it you are still using non connected to the developer stores to use for evidence.

Am I correct in this assumption. Some companies guess, if it has this then it will have that. Hell 123Kinect.com I think is still convinced you dont know jack is for Kinect.

That's why I'm asking for confirmation. These shop are reputable retailers and generally do get info from distributor ahead of time. They've also disclosed news before the publisher in the past so its certainly not without precedence. Furthermore, in this case it's not just one site, it's actually pretty wide spread in fact. The reason I'm a bit pessimistic about these data is because the game screams motion control with big honkin horns so it could be natural for a few retailers to make a mistake and for everyone else to compound on that mistake by reading the mistaken retailers' data and treating it as fact.

I'm very interested in this game, it is essentially going to be the decider for me on either getting the move or the kinetic later in the year. Don't burn me for being a bit wishful :P
