Well you are entitled to your opinion but to be fair the series is not overrated and you can't say it is just based on your own opinion. Just because you don't get the hype doesn't mean it doesn't deserve the hype.

Though I am curious as to what kinds of games you do like? Please don't take this the wrong way but, are you one of those "Singleplayer is dead and boring if a game doesn't have good multiplayer it's not worth playing!" guys are you? Because that would explain a lot.

Uncharted 1's graphics aren't that good. Have you played it recently? Don't get me wrong, I love it, I like it MUCH more than U2, but the graphics are completely outdated. Mostly in regards to textures and face, there are probably about 50 games out now that beat it out easily. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the graphics are bad, but they aren't all that good either.

Again, this is U1, U2 still looks phenomenal.

@OP, rock on, I'm all for people going against the grain. Don't let some these people bring you down just because they worship the series. That said, if you don't really like a genre, you probably shouldn't make a post about a specific game you dislike. That would be like me making an "I don't like God of War 3" thread when I usually hate that hack-and-slash type of gameplay. It just comes down to this, what's the point?

Also, yes the gameplay is pretty meh at times. Even though I love U1, the gunplay is stiff, the platforming/climbing is a joke, and the puzzles are patronizing. If the game(s) didn't hold your hand so much, I think I wouldnt have enjoyed them both more. Puzzles amount to "press select for the answer". You don't have to be too accurate with most of the platforming/climbing, except those handful of times when you need to be EXTREMELY accurate. Consistency would have been nice. I just love U1's story.

Ok so if you dont think Uncharted 2 grahics arent good? What in your opinion have better graphics in a console. Uncharted 2 is the best looking console game to date. Maybe your a pc gamer? I'm fine with your opinion not liking the game. Everyone has an opinion, but when you said graphics aren't good thats taking it a bit too far lol..

You don't like the Uncharted series? Fair enough. Some people create opinions before they play and end up with a completely different realization of how the game is like. It happens. 

But to say that the graphics weren't that good. Wow, thats just flamebait. Give me a game that looks better than Uncharted 2 on the PS3 that is a third person shooter? 

I'm sorry, but I've played a TON of games, and in terms of story, voice-acting, pacing, graphics, and online experience, Uncharted 2 is STILL my number one choice for games. 

Eh.... I give uncharted an 8, and UC2 an 8.5. So I liked it, not near as much as most though
the train level was awesome though.

it does what it trys to do well. (One of the best if not the best looking games on ps3).

But I prefer tomb raider's platforming/puzzles. for that aspect.
And I prefer Mass Effect's Shooting/Story/atmosphere. for that aspect.

both of which I like more than UC1,2 (especially ME2). Uncharted's dialogue and interactions look more natural, but idc.

I also think that Uncharted ist crap, I played Uncharted 2 till the end and the half of Uncharted 1 and I still dont know why this game get all this Awards, besides the Grafik nothing is special about this game, the Story ist crap, the Chars are boring. Uncharted 2 ist extremely overhyped and overrated.
