It's amazing how well the 360 is doing in the US. They basicly took the market from the Wii.

"@NPD reports that Xbox 360 was #1 again in Feb w/ 535K sold, biggest non-holiday month ever, up 27% YOY"

360 undertracked 50k.

Now that is surprising! :P

Not really, I actually thought 360 would pick up, after the supply issue was resolved, it appears it did.

@seece, I think people think what goes up, must come down,(sooner then later) and that is the logic that is being defied for them.

June is when it'll start sliding, if it beats june and then july ect, THEN it's defying logic

lol the 360 isn't too far to sale twice as good as the Wii and PS3 combined.

Edit: I don't know what "twice" was doing there.

Oh, wow. I just love how numbers defy logic just to contradict me. Great numbers for 360, I suppose.

360's been up yoy for 14 months in a row now, how has it defied logic exactly?

Being up YOY is completely normal. Being undertracked by such a substantial amount isn't.

It is a good thing for 360, though.

Crazy Pach, said 360 would drop the price first, so by that logic, looks like it might not even happen during that time.

Finishes full circle, Nintendo took the market from Sony, now Microsoft takes the market from Nintendo (Yearly, actually might not be a close tie between the two). So now if only Sony could take the market from Microsoft.

Given I have to congratulate microsoft not on marketshare (that thing should be secondary objective), but making the xbox360 brand profitable, and in time the whole 360 project will be in the green. Not many companies can comeback from digging themselves into that big of a hole. Only few select can accomplish such great task.

Well it would be one of the things that has the chance of keeping 360 YoY, but if I am honest I don't think it'll be up YoY from June until about mid september/october. I could be wrong and Kinect could be a box of sales rape, just waiting to be opened.

Yes, very few, namely the ones most with the most bills playa lmao.

Curious to see Nintendo and Sony numbers. Greenberg didn't mention that 360 was the only one to see YOY growth like he did last month.

1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

Totally agreed, that microsoft warchest helped, but I don't think as a company microsoft would have released another console (the one after the 360), if the 360 would never be profitable.
