I'm very curious why someone would make a post to state that the thread will be ignored. Strange.

Well, I'm not sure who the real bad guy is, but it's good that the PS3's are free once again.

Don't know if you're just being rhetorical, but I think he was commenting about how this issue, which often happens and usually is considered minor, was met with such vigor on this site by certain people.  Now that the issue is resolved, and in Sony's favor, he is guessing these people may no longer find the issue interesting.

Pretty sure this was no normal minor event hence why it got a lot more attention, if you can point to the last time a major seizing of Gaming consoles numbering 300,000 then I am happy to be corrected.

At last, now everything can go back to normal, for the moment at least.

When anything was different from normal?

When PS3s entering the EU were seized by customs and Sony had to regain the right to ship PS3s to the EU again?

Nope. Sony always has the right to ship PS3 to EU... nothing changed... Sony never stopped to ship PS3 to EU.

PS3 is selling very good in EU after all.

Well, I was referring specifically to a patent dispute.  All you need is a certain court to see things your way for things to escalate a bit.  But now it's been quickly resolved, as most things are.  Kind of odd as Sony also claims that LG has done the same crap that they accuse Sony of doing.

Sweeeeet, silly patent disputes...

This doesn't mean much, does it? I mean, LG is still saying that PS3 infringed upon their patents, right?

I think it means they can't do anything about it now, as Sony won.  LG is even getting fined for impeding Sony's sales per day.

Whatever. Things are back to the way they were before, i.e. normal.
