Hey guys, i am sure a lot of people know that there are many ps3 games undertracked on this site and are really pissed off! 

Well i am one of them it started out with saying that games like mgs4,god of war 3 madden,black ops and now even gt5!

Well today i'm here to talk about gt5 and how it's undertracked. Sony said that gt5 shipped 6.37 million in 6 weeks as of decemeber 31st 2010 and a new shipment was about to be sent! As of 2010 dec 31st gt5 only sold 5 million! why would consumers ask for more when the first shipment was far from selling out( first shipment 5.5million in 13 days) then there was a fourm saying that gt5 sold 6.37 million by the end of dec 31st. then after many people doubted this site's credibilaty one writer closed the fourm down and din't give a reasonable explaination why the fourm was closed! Eveb today there are people compaining about how the game is undertracked an vg isn't doing anythink about it!

Simple: VGC is a bunch of sony haters deliberately trying to undertrack games, to show the 360 in a better limelight. /Sarcasm

Realistically two possible reasons:

1. Human Error, I mean it happens.
2. Since you mentioned Black Ops, Shipment Does Not Equal Sales, since namely black ops is typically heavily shipped. 

It happens to all consoles and certainly isn't significantly more prevalent on PS3. This site can't track everything perfectly, you know.

It happens with the nintendo and sony consoles. (ms doesnt give sw numbers)

Just look at the software shipments until 2010

I havent looked psp and ps2 numbers but you get the idea that not only the ps3 has undertracked games. 

Fallout new vegas also claimed shipped 5 million copies in 10 days, look that sales now

I know for some games like Hot Shots Golf and Rock Band 1 and 2, VGC does not have data for Others, so the data is incomplete. It happens to all consoles though, some more so than others.
