Well now that we have the first week sales for Bulletstorm they are massivley 1 sided for the 360.  Given Epic games strong partnership with the 360 this generation and the relatively poor sales on the PS3, should Bulletstorm have just been a 360 exclusive?

There's pro's and con's for both sides but personally I think it would have payed off better for both Epic and Microsoft if they would have done that.  There could have been more advertising and "hype" for it since it would have been an exclusive and MS would have had a big shooter to put up against in direct competition with Killzone 3.

On the 360 for a new IP I think Bulletstorm had a pretty good launch and will probably end up being a million seller on the system but if it had been exclusive with more hype and advertising it could have probably done even more.  What do you guys think?

bulletstorm sales are so low on ps3 because of killzone 3...duh.

also, let's not forget about the pc. by 360 exclusive do you mean soley 360 or both pc and 360?

you don't need to duh me dude.

Its a valid point regardless given Epic have already delivered 2 exclusive franchises to the 360 this gen in Gears of War and Shadow Complex, so it would hardly be surprising if they had done Bulletstorm exclusive.

And I could care less if it was on PC or not because I'm not one of these dudes who freak out and scream not exclusive if it is on PC.  A console exclusive is still an exclusive PC and console are totally seperate markets and there's very little overlap.

PS3 owners had a better choice, and looks like a lot took it.

Good for them.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

If they released it next month and not tried to f*&k with killzone they would have got better sales on the PS3, simple.

Of course, there's still crysis 2, it doesn't help if you have got sh*tloads of shooters in the upcoming months.

Not to mention it did worse on the PC, it sold only 15000, if you include digital sales it would probably have done something like 45K.

Where did I ever say Bulletstorm was a better game.  This is about business decisions.

killzone 3 stop it and people wanted the gears 3 beta.

With how far MS's johnson has been lodged in Epic's throat, they might as well have made it 360 exclusive.

Then again, a couple hundred thousand PS3 copies sold doesn't hurt.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

well if they didnt trash evrery thing ps3 related,

and didnt released it the same day as Killzone 3, maybe they wouldve got respectable sales for it.

both these thing combined made my interest in this game go from mild to absolutely none,
