Microsoft reveals findings of gamer survey; 13 per cent spend over £100 on Xbox games On average UK Xbox 360 gamers splurge £64 a month on their hobby according to Microsoft. The format holder’s ad sales department – Microsoft Advertising – also found that 13 per cent of gamers spend more than £100 on 360 games each month. The findings were part of a survey of 251 UK Xbox 360 gamers aged between 25 and 34 years old. The data was shared exclusively with MCV. 360 owners also play around seven different games each month on average. 83 per cent of Xbox 360 users game three to four times each week and 41 per cent play for three or four hours per day.
The most popular games are shooters, followed by racing and RPGs.
