This gave the original Game Boy (1989-2002) one of the longest continuous lifespans of any console, only bested by the Atari 2600 (1977-1992), and the Neo-Geo AES/MVS (1990-2004). This only solidifies the idea that a lot of games, even newer ones, were made for BOTH GB and GBC systems, creating a non-dependency for one-or-the-other.



Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players

Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability

Therefore, Checkers > Halo

So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.

It could be complications arising from Sonys idiotic old fiscals, I mean their fiscal 2007 showed 5.5 mil PS3s... and PSP will be differnet too (if you change the dates at the moment you can see how screwed up PSP is, shipping huge numbers follwed by tiny numbers)

I have to admit, I'm a little tentative agree that the game boy color really should be included with the Game boy sales. While it had the same setup as the Gameboy and Gameboy pocket, it was capable of playing games that the original Gameboy was not capable of playing at all.

I consider the GBA and GBA SP to be the same console because any game that could be played on one of them could be played on the other, same thing for the DS phat and DS lite.

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

My Friend, you underestimate how popular the psp will become.  The life of the PSP is just begining.  PSP and PS3 connectivity will start to pull ps3 owners and vice versa.  The PSP is not even close to death. The same is for Blu Ray.  Sony are quietly setting up the background that will produce the biggest show in game history.  I commend Sony for what they are doing with the PLAYSTATION Brand.  PSP and Ps3 will be in unison and people will know what innovation is... more than a motion sensing remote :P
