Who plays in simple mode?

If you play in simple mode you want a button masher.

The real mode has intricate and hard to pull off combos.  I'm not trying to diss anyone on preference, if you like MK better, fine, that's fair.  But to call MvC 3 a button masher is short sighted.

i never called the game a button masher. i just said they can turn into one. to play with the best you can't button mash in any fighter no matter what anyone says. but 2 avrg joes can vs each other button mashing (and you can still have fun doing it).

i know a couple people who play in simple mode their casual and it becomes a button masher is all. still without simple mode it cant be one unless your just pressing stuff randomly.

I think, MK is a better game as a whole but.....

Marvel vs capcom 3 is more enjoying to play

I'll probably buy Mortal Kombat, but from the looks of it, it won't be nearly as fun as MvC3 for me. If that makes me a button masher, then fine, I'll be happy being a button masher.

It's not a button masher but it definitely can get ridiculous sometimes.

MK will have much more replayability and it shouldn't be too hard for it to be better balanced than MvC3. Still though, MvC3 is a pretty fun game - it's abit on the casual level but at the same time, good players can dominate.

Personally i'll get Mortal Kombat day one but once MvC3 is down to about 20 bucks i'll pick it up.

Sorry, I do agree that matches can turn into button mashing events if it is two inexperienced players playing.  I still think the game is much more intricate and deep than seems at the surface and I love it.  So my bad.

I prefer MvC 3, but everyone has a right to preference, and it seems like a lot of people on here are all about MK, which is cool.  I hope it's a good game.  I've never really cared for MK though, once the novelty of fatalities wore off on me.
