Forums - Gaming Discussion - Nintendo Praises Microsoft, Xbox Live, And Call of Duty

Call of Duty's online options are pretty limited compared to some other fpses though. But I guess being the most popular means there is enough for most people.

wow amazing!!!!!   well deserved praise coming from iwata means A LOT

That's what I like best about Nintendo. They're - Iwata especially so - almost never cocky (save for Reggie, but he's, uh...) and I'm quite surprised that they even go as far as to praise the competition.

I still support the "Nintendo is a cute and cuddly company" belief, :D.

Boring Zelda trailer, first screenshots of another 3D Mario and now this. Will the bad news ever stop?!

At least  Metroid Other M 2 wasn't announced.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Good for him. A good game should be credited no matter what, the console doesn't matter. And, more importantly, he spoke the truth and his mind

The more people like Iwata in the gaming industry, the better gaming will become.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

They save the big'uns for E3!

Microsoft with Xbox Live definitely deserves praise as it is just a wonderful addition to gaming especially social and competitive gaming.  Xbox Live is something I use virtually everyday and why I have no issue paying for it as I definitely get my money's worth with the effort and content MS puts into it.  So glad that Nintendo gave the props that they deserve and nice for MS to hear as well especially coming from Ninty.  Good to see some love thrown around at GDC, althoughy to be expected at that event.

Hmmmm... I think Mr. Iwata is up to something. I'm not sure what it is yet, but I'm going to start investigating (grabs monocle and pipe).

... Then again he could just be genuinely kind; which would render my investigation pointless.
